Dear Madam/Sir:

In 2017, Canada celebrates its 150th anniversary and the Canada Gazette is keen to participate in the celebrations related to this most important milestone of our country’s history.

As part of these celebrations, the Canada Gazette Directorate posted several tweets on the official Twitter account of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) to highlight memorable articles that have been published in the Canada Gazette over the years. As well, more tweets with a surprising twist will be posted on PSPC’s Twitter account until the end of 2017!

Insertion rates for the Canada Gazette in fiscal year 2017 to 2018

March 13, 2017

Dear Madam/Sir:

In the last few years, the Canada Gazette Directorate (CGD) significantly modified its operations to produce the Canada Gazette and the layout of its publications. As a cost-recovery organization, the time has come for us to assess our production costs and to adjust our insertion rates accordingly, if necessary. We will carry out this assessment in the next few months. Therefore, no rate increase is anticipated for the year starting April 1, 2017, and ending March 31, 2018. We will inform you during the first months of 2018 of any potential changes to our insertion rates.

If you have any questions concerning our rates, visit our website at http://www.gazette.gc.ca/pi-ip/insrate-tarins-eng.html, or contact us at info.gazette@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca.

Offering you great flexibility in the ways you can transmit your notices!

December 19, 2016

Dear Sir/Madam:

The Canada Gazette Directorate (CGD) consistently strives to achieve excellence in client service. To make it easier for its many clients, the CGD offers them several ways to send their notices for publication in the Canada Gazette.

Although CGD clients can send us their notices by email, they can also submit them by fax, by mail and even in person. However, we strongly encourage our clients who wish to publish notices in Part I to send them by email. One of the key objectives of the CGD is to expand and promote electronic services for its clients.

To obtain information on each method of transmission (email address, file format, etc.), please visit our Web page about our publishing requirements.

We welcome your comments and suggestions as we are always looking for ways to improve our service delivery. Do not hesitate to contact us at info.gazette@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca.
