PROPOSED REGULATORY TEXT

Notice is given that the Governor in Council, pursuant to subsection 70(2) of the Nuclear Liability and Compensation Act (see footnote a), proposes to make the annexed Regulations Repealing the Canada-United States Nuclear Liability Rules.

Interested persons may make representations concerning the proposed Regulations within 30 days after the date of publication of this notice. REGULATIONS REPEALING THE CANADA-UNITED STATES NUCLEAR LIABILITY RULES

REPEAL

1. The Canada-United States Nuclear Liability Rules (see footnote 1) are repealed.

COMING INTO FORCE

2. These Regulations come into force on January 1, 2016.
