AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS MARKETING ACT

Potatoes New Brunswick, formerly known as the New Brunswick Potato Agency, pursuant to sections 3 footnote a and 4 of the New Brunswick Potato Order footnote b, makes the annexed Order Amending the New Brunswick Potato Marketing Levies (Interprovincial and Export) Order – No. 2.

Order Amending the New Brunswick Potato Marketing Levies (Interprovincial and Export) Order – No. 2

Amendments

1 The definition designated area in section 2 of the New Brunswick Potato Marketing Levies (Interprovincial and Export) Order – No. 2 footnote 1 is repealed.

2 Section 4 of the Order is replaced by the following:

4 Every producer shall pay to the Commodity Board a levy of $16.50 for each acre used in the production of potatoes by the producer or on their behalf.

Coming into Force

3 This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order establishes the levy rates to be paid by every producer engaged in the production of potatoes in New Brunswick in interprovincial and international trade.
