Concrete reinforcing bar

Notice is hereby given that, on August 12, 2014, pursuant to subsection 37.1(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal determined that there was evidence that disclosed a reasonable indication that the dumping and subsidizing of hot-rolled deformed steel concrete reinforcing bar in straight lengths or coils, commonly identified as rebar, in various diameters up to and including 56.4 millimetres, in various finishes, excluding plain round bar and fabricated rebar products, originating in or exported from the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Turkey, had caused injury or were threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry (Preliminary Injury Inquiry No. PI-2014-001).

The Commission will hold a hearing commencing on 15 October 2014, at 9 a.m., at the Conference Centre, Phase IV, 140 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec, to consider the following:

  1. Radio India (2003) Ltd.
    Surrey, British Columbia

    Pursuant to section 12 of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission calls Radio India (2003) Ltd. to a public hearing in order to inquire into, hear and determine whether the entity is carrying on an undertaking in whole or in part in Canada without a licence. Radio India (2003) Ltd. will also be required to show cause why a mandatory order should not be issued requiring Radio India (2003) Ltd. to cease and desist operating a broadcasting undertaking at Surrey, British Columbia, or elsewhere in Canada, except in compliance with the Broadcasting Act.
  2. Radio Punjab Ltd.
