RELEASE OF ASSETS
Pursuant to section 651 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) [the “Act”], notice is hereby given that GROUPAMA GAN VIE, carrying on business in Canada as a branch under the name GAN ASSURANCES VIE COMPAGNIE FRANÇAISE D'ASSURANCES VIE MIXTE (“GAN”), intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), on or after April 4, 2016, for an order authorizing the release of the assets that it maintains in Canada in accordance with the Act.
Any policyholder or creditor in respect of GAN's insurance business in Canada opposing that release is invited to file an opposition by mail to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), Legislation and Approvals Division, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, or by email at approvalsandprecedents@osfi-bsif.gc.ca, on or before April 4, 2016.

The Native Council of Prince Edward Island hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport under the Navigation Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under paragraph 5(6)(b) of the said Act, the Native Council of Prince Edward Island has deposited with the Minister of Transport and in the office of the local land registry of Prince County, Prince Edward Island, at 120 Harbour Drive, Summerside, under deposit No. 39011, a description of the site and plans for the conversion of an existing shellfish aquaculture lease to an off-bottom technology system in the Trout River, at Bideford, in front of lot bearing Civic No. 488, Bideford Road, Bideford.
Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Regional Manager, Navigation Protection Program, Transport Canada, 95 Foundry Street, P.O. Box 42, Moncton, New Brunswick E1C 8K6. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

Rio Tinto Alcan hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport under the Navigation Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein.
