PLANS DEPOSITED

Alberta Transportation hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport under the Navigation Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under paragraph 5(6)(b) of the said Act, Alberta Transportation has deposited with the Minister of Transport and in the Alberta Land Titles Office in Calgary, under deposit No. 161135359, a description of the site and plans for repairs to the Harvie Passage, in Calgary, following damages from the 2013 flood, in the Bow River at Western Headworks Weir, in Alberta Township Survey SE and SW 13-024-01 W5M, from the CN Rail Bridge to the Cushing Bridge.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Regional Manager, Navigation Protection Program, Transport Canada, 344 Edmonton Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 0P6. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.

BANK OF TOKYO-MITSUBISHI UFJ (CANADA)

REDUCTION OF STATED CAPITAL

As required under subsection 75(5) of the Bank Act, notice is hereby given that Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Canada) [the “Bank”] intends to apply to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions for approval to reduce the stated capital of the common shares of the Bank in accordance with the special resolution passed by the sole shareholder of the Bank on June 17, 2016, a copy of which is set out below.

“RESOLVED AS A SPECIAL RESOLUTION that

  1. Subject to the approval of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada) pursuant to section 75 of the Bank Act (Canada), the stated capital account maintained for the common shares of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Canada) [the “Bank”] be reduced in accordance with section 75 of the Bank Act (Canada) by an amount of up to Cdn. $89,549,375.69 [the “Authorized Limit”] by distributing such amount to the sole shareholder of the Bank;
  2. The directors and officers of the Bank are hereby authorized and directed to apply under section 75 of the Bank Act (Canada) for approval of this resolution and such reduction of stated capital;
  3. The Bank's Chief Executive Officer shall determine the amount and timing of each such reduction of stated capital within the Authorized Limit; and
  4. Any officer or director of the Bank is authorized and directed, for and on behalf of the Bank, to execute and deliver all such documents and to do such other acts or things as may be determined to be necessary or advisable to give effect to this resolution, the execution of any such document or the doing of any such other act or thing being conclusive evidence of such determination.”
