The following notice of proposed revocation was sent to the charity listed below revoking it for failure to meet the parts of the Income Tax Act as listed in this notice:
“Notice is hereby given, pursuant to paragraph 168(1)(b) of the Income Tax Act, that I propose to revoke the registration of the charity listed below and that by virtue of subsection 168(2) thereof, the revocation of the registration is effective on the date of publication of this notice in the Canada Gazette.”

CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL TRADE TRIBUNAL
INQUIRY
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) has received a complaint (File No. PR-2016-020) from Canadian Maritime Engineering Ltd. (Canadian Maritime Engineering), of St. Catharines, Ontario, concerning a procurement by the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation on behalf of the Department of Transport. The solicitation is for the operation of the Port Weller dry dock and marine facility. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal made a decision on July 14, 2016, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.
The Tribunal has decided to inquire into Canadian Maritime Engineering's allegations that the evaluation of bids submitted in response to the solicitation involved improper application of the criteria stated in the Request for Proposal, as well as the application of undisclosed criteria and weighting methodology, and that the overall procurement process was conducted in a manner that was not fair, open or transparent, failed to provide for equal access to the procurement and allegedly raised a reasonable apprehension of bias.

Fabricated materials
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) has received a complaint (File No. PR-2016-021) from Springcrest Inc. (Springcrest), of Princeton, Ontario, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. W8482-178454) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services on behalf of the Department of National Defence. The solicitation is for the provision of multiple pumps. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal made a decision on July 12, 2016, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.
Springcrest alleges that the procurement is biased in favour of the original equipment manufacturer and, alternatively, that the procurement is impossible to meet.

On April 1, 2011, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure came into force. NATIONAL ENERGY BOARD
APPLICATION TO EXPORT ELECTRICITY TO THE UNITED STATES
EDF Trading North America, LLC
By an application dated July 20, 2016, EDF Trading North America, LLC (“EDF” or the “Applicant”) has applied to the National Energy Board (the “Board”), under Division II of Part VI of the National Energy Board Act (the “Act”), for authorization to export up to 5 000 000 MWh of firm energy per year and 5 000 000 MWh of interruptible energy per year for a period of 10 years. A list of generation facilities in which EDF or its affiliates has an interest (at the time of application) can be viewed in the application filed with the Board.
EDF holds an existing permit (permit EPE-357) issued by the Board that authorizes EDF to export up to 920 000 MWh of firm energy and 470 000 MWh of interruptible energy in any consecutive 12-month period for a period of 10 years. This existing permit expires on September 8, 2020. Subject to the issuance of the authorization requested in the application, EDF will be requesting that the Board rescind EDF's existing permit EPE-357.
The Board wishes to obtain the views of interested parties on this application before issuing a permit or recommending to the Governor in Council that the application be designated for a licensing procedure. The directions on procedure that follow explain in detail the procedure that will be used.
- The Applicant shall deposit and keep on file, for public inspection during normal business hours, copies of the application at its offices located at EDF Trading North America, LLC, 407 Second Street SW, Suite 620, Calgary, Alberta T2P 2Y3, 403-984-9913 (telephone), 403-984-9959 (fax), to the attention of Ron Kisic, and provide a copy of the application to any person who requests one. A copy of the application is available for viewing during normal business hours, by appointment, in the Board's library, at 517 Tenth Avenue SW, 2nd Floor, Calgary, Alberta T2R 0A8. - Submissions that any party wishes to present shall be filed with the Secretary, National Energy Board, 517 Tenth Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta T2R 0A8, 403-292-5503 (fax), and served on the Applicant by August 22, 2016.
- Pursuant to subsection 119.06(2) of the Act, the Board is interested in the views of submitters with respect to
- (a) the effect of the exportation of the electricity on provinces other than that from which the electricity is to be exported; and
- (b) whether the Applicant has
- (i) informed those who have declared an interest in buying electricity for consumption in Canada of the quantities and classes of service available for sale, and
- (ii) given an opportunity to purchase electricity on terms and conditions as favourable as the terms and conditions specified in the application to those who, within a reasonable time of being so informed, demonstrate an intention to buy electricity for consumption in Canada.
- Any answer to submissions that the Applicant wishes to present in response to items 2 and 3 of this notice of application and directions on procedure shall be filed with the Secretary of the Board and served on the party that filed the submission by September 6, 2016.
