Order 2016-87-09-02 Amending the Non-domestic Substances List
Whereas, pursuant to subsection 87(5) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (see footnote a), the Minister of the Environment has added the substances referred to in the annexed Order to the Domestic Substances List (see footnote b);
Therefore, the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to subsection 87(5) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (see footnote c), makes the annexed Order 2016-87-09-02 Amending the Non-domestic Substances List.

Notice No. SMSE-012-16 — Release of SPR-002, Issue 1
Notice is hereby given by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) that the following measurement procedure is to be used to demonstrate compliance with the nerve stimulation requirements of RSS-102, Radio Frequency (RF) Exposure Compliance of Radiocommunication Apparatus (All Frequency Bands), and it is now available on the Department's Radio Standards Specifications page at http://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/eng/h_sf06129.html.
SPR-002, Issue 1, Supplementary Procedure for Assessing Compliance with RSS-102 Nerve Stimulation Exposure Limits, specifies the general test methods to be followed when carrying out an assessment to the nerve stimulation exposure requirements of RSS-102.
The nerve stimulation requirements of RSS-102 will come into force six months after the date of publication of SPR-002. SPR-002 must be used to demonstrate compliance with these requirements.

The review of this document has been coordinated with industry through the Radio Advisory Board of Canada.
