PROPOSED REGULATORY TEXT
Notice is given that the Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to paragraphs 37(1)(d) and (f) to (h) of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (see footnote a), proposes to make the annexed Regulations Repealing the Asbestos Products Regulations.
Interested persons may make representations to the Minister of Health concerning the proposed Regulations within 75 days after the date of publication of this notice. Repeal
1 The Asbestos Products Regulations (see footnote 1) are repealed.
Coming into Force
2 These Regulations come into force on the day on which the Prohibition of Asbestos and Asbestos Products Regulations come into force, but if they are registered after that day, they come into force on the day on which they are registered.
