The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has received a complaint (File No. PR-2018-016) from Harris Corporation, of Roanoke, Virginia (USA), concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. M7594-5-4254/B) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) on behalf of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The solicitation is for night vision binoculars. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal made a decision on July 25, 2018, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.
The complainant alleges irregularities in the procurement process.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has received a complaint (File No. PR-2018-017) from Critical Software, SA (Critical Software), of Coimbra, Portugal, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. W8474-17SM06/B) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) on behalf of the Department of National Defence. The solicitation is for the design, assembly, delivery and associated maintenance and support of a Search and Rescue Mission Management System (SMMS) Application. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal made a decision on August 2, 2018, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.
Critical Software alleges that PWGSC erred in the technical evaluation of the winning supplier's bid.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has received a complaint (File No. PR-2018-019) from Rescue 7 Inc., of Markham, Ontario, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. 47419-188627/B) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) on behalf of the Canada Border Services Agency. The solicitation is for automated external defibrillators. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal made a decision on August 7, 2018, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.
Rescue 7 Inc. alleges that PWGSC awarded the contract to a bidder whose product does not meet the mandatory requirements of the solicitation.

Hot-rolled carbon steel plate
Notice is hereby given that, on August 9, 2018, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal continued its order (Expiry Review No. RR-2017-004) in respect of hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high-strength low-alloy plate not further manufactured than hot-rolled, heat-treated or not, in cut lengths, in widths from 24 in. (+/- 610 mm) to 152 in. (+/- 3 860 mm) inclusive, and thicknesses from 0.187 in. (+/- 4.75 mm) to 4.0 in. (+/- 101.6 mm) inclusive, but excluding plate for use in the manufacture of pipe and tube (also known as skelp), plate in coil form, plate having a rolled, raised figure at regular intervals on the surface (also known as floor plate) and plate produced to American Society for Testing and Materials specifications A515 and A516M/A516, grade 70 (also known as pressure vessel quality plate) in thicknesses greater than 3.125 in. (+/- 79.3 mm), originating in or exported from the People's Republic of China.
