AIR CANADA

APPLICATION TO ESTABLISH AN INSURANCE COMPANY

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 25(2) of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada), that Air Canada intends to apply to the Minister of Finance for letters patent to incorporate a life insurance company. The proposed life insurance company will carry on business in Canada under the name AC Life Insurance Company / AC compagnie d'assurance-vie and its head office will be located in Montréal, Quebec.

The proposed life insurance company intends to engage in the reinsurance of pension risks related to Air Canada's pension plans and related activities.

Any person who objects to the issuance of these letters patent may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before October 1, 2018.

Note: The publication of this notice should not be construed as evidence that letters patent will be issued to incorporate the life insurance company. The granting of the letters patent will be dependent upon the normal Insurance Companies Act (Canada) application review process and the discretion of the Minister of Finance.

MOMENTUM GROUP LIMITED

APPLICATION TO ESTABLISH AN INSURANCE COMPANY

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 25(2) of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada), that the Momentum Group Limited and its sole shareholder, Bradley Wells, intend to file with the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, on or after October 1, 2018, an application for the Minister of Finance to issue letters patent incorporating an insurance company to carry on the business of specialty property and casualty insurance in Canada. Its head office will be located in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Any person who objects to the issuance of these letters patent may submit the objections in writing to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before September 30, 2018.
