Call for Bids No. NS18-3

The Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (the "Board") hereby gives notice of a call for submission of bids for two Exploration Licences covering those lands in the Nova Scotia offshore area described in Appendix I (the "Lands") of Call for Bids No. NS18-3.

This notice of Call for Bids No. NS18-3 is made pursuant to the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation Act, S.C. 1988, c. 28, and the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act, S.N.S. 1987, c. 3 (the "Legislation").

Sucker rods

Notice is hereby given that, on December 14, 2018, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal found (Inquiry No. NQ-2018-001), pursuant to subsection 43(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, that the dumping and subsidizing of sucker rods originating in or exported from the People's Republic of China have caused injury to the domestic industry.

Regulated interswitching rates for 2019

Whereas in Determination No. R-2018-254 dated November 30, 2018, the Canadian Transportation Agency (Agency) determined, pursuant to subsection 127.1(1) of the Canada Transportation Act (CTA), S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended, the regulated interswitching rates for 2019, according to the interswitching distance zones as defined in the Railway Interswitching Regulations, SOR/88-41, as amended;

And whereas pursuant to subsection 127.1(5) of the CTA, the Agency shall cause the interswitching rates to be published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, no later than December 31 before the beginning of the calendar year for which the rate applies,

The Agency hereby publishes the interswitching rates for the 2019 calendar year.
