The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has received a complaint (File No. PR-2019-026) from Hurricane Services Inc. (Hurricane), of Redcliff, Alberta, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. W0142-19X036/B) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) on behalf of the Department of National Defence. The solicitation is for the repair, calibration, servicing and testing of radiator-related articles. Pursuant to subsection 30.13(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act and subsection 7(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Tribunal made a decision on August 15, 2019, to conduct an inquiry into the complaint.
Hurricane alleges that PWGSC should not have required a Quality Management Plan or should have allowed more time to provide it, that PWGSC erred in failing to provide an opportunity to submit missing documentation, and that it is not clear whether the winning bidder is properly qualified.

Notice is hereby given that, on August 22, 2019, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal continued its finding (Expiry Review No. RR-2018-003) made on November 19, 2013, in Inquiry No. NQ-2013-003, concerning the dumping and subsidizing of silicon metal containing at least 96.00% but less than 99.99% silicon by weight, and silicon metal containing between 89.00% and 96.00% silicon by weight that contains aluminum greater than 0.20% by weight, of all forms and sizes, originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China.
