PROPOSED REGULATORY TEXT

Notice is given that the Governor in Council, pursuant to subsection 151(2) of the Cannabis Act footnote a, proposes to make the annexed Order Amending Schedule 3 to the Cannabis Act.

Interested persons may make representations concerning the proposed Order within 45 days after the date of publication of this notice. Order Amending Schedule 3 to the Cannabis Act

Amendments

1 Item 4 of Schedule 3 to the Cannabis Act footnote a is deleted.

2 Schedule 3 to the Act is amended by adding the following after item 3:

Quantity that is equivalent to 1 g of dried cannabis

4 non-solids containing cannabis, other than cannabis beverages 70 g
3 Schedule 3 to the Act is amended by adding the following after item 5:

6 cannabis beverages 570 g

Coming into Force

4 This Order comes into force on the day on which the Regulations Amending Certain Regulations Concerning Cannabis Research and Testing and Cannabis Beverages come into force, but if it is registered after that day, this Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
