Order Terminating the Assignment of the Honourable Christian Paradis and Assigning the Honourable Christian Paradis to Assist the Minister of Foreign Affairs

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 11 (see footnote a) of the Ministries and Ministers of State Act (see footnote b), effective July 15, 2013,

• (a) terminates the assignment of the Honourable Christian Paradis, made by Order in Council P.C. 2011-576 of May 18, 2011 (see footnote c), and
• (b) assigns the Honourable Christian Paradis, a Minister of State to be styled Minister for La Francophonie, to assist the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities.
