MINISTRIES AND MINISTERS OF STATE ACT

Order Terminating the Assignment of the Honourable Maxime Bernier and Assigning the Honourable Maxime Bernier to Assist the Minister of Industry and the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 11 (see footnote a) of the Ministries and Ministers of State Act (see footnote b), effective July 15, 2013,

• (a) terminates the assignment of the Honourable Maxime Bernier, made by Order in Council P.C. 2011-579 of May 18, 2011 (see footnote c), and
• (b) assigns the Honourable Maxime Bernier, a Minister of State to be styled Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism, and Agriculture), to assist
  • (i) the Minister of Industry in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities, and
  • (ii) the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities.
