Order Terminating the Assignment of the Honourable Tim Uppal and Assigning the Honourable Tim Uppal to Assist the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 11 (see footnote a) of the Ministries and Ministers of State Act (see footnote b), effective July 15, 2013,

• (a) terminates the assignment of the Honourable Tim Uppal, made by Order in Council P.C. 2011-580 of May 18, 2011 (see footnote c), and
• (b) assigns the Honourable Tim Uppal, a Minister of State to be styled Minister of State (Multiculturalism), to assist the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities.
