CUSTOMS TARIFF
Order Amending the Schedule to the Customs Tariff (Extension of Least Developed Country Tariff to South Sudan)

Whereas South Sudan is a country that is a beneficiary of the General Preferential Tariff under the Customs Tariff (see footnote a);
And whereas the Governor in Council is of the opinion that South Sudan is a least developed country;
Therefore, to extend entitlement to the Least Developed Country Tariff to all eligible goods that originate in South Sudan, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to paragraph 38(1)(a) (see footnote b) of the Customs Tariff (see footnote c), makes the annexed Order Amending the Schedule to the Customs Tariff (Extension of Least Developed Country Tariff to South Sudan).
ORDER AMENDING THE SCHEDULE TO THE CUSTOMS TARIFF (EXTENSION OF LEAST DEVELOPED COUNTRY TARIFF TO SOUTH SUDAN)
AMENDMENT
1. The List of Countries and Applicable Tariff Treatments set out in the schedule to the Customs Tariff (see footnote 1) is amended by adding, in the column “LDCT”, the symbol “X” opposite the reference to “South Sudan” in the column “Country Name”.
COMING INTO FORCE
2. This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
