Polar Medal and Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers Order

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister

• (a) pursuant to section 10 of the Polar Medal Regulations, directs that the Polar Medal shall follow the European Security and Defence Policy Service Medal in the order of precedence in the Canadian Honours System; and
• (b) pursuant to section 11 of the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers Regulations, directs that the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers shall follow the Polar Medal in the order of precedence in the Canadian Honours System.
