FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION ACT

Whereas the Governor in Council considers it appropriate that the Office of the Senior Assistant Deputy Minister, First Nations and Inuit Health Branch, in the Department of Health, be added to Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act (see footnote a) as a department for the purposes of that Act, to be known as the Department of Indigenous Services Canada;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister,

• (a) pursuant to paragraph 3(1)(a) (see footnote b) of the Financial Administration Act (see footnote c), makes the annexed Order Amending Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act; and
• (b) orders that the Minister of State styled Minister of Indigenous Services shall preside over the Department of Indigenous Services Canada, effective November 30, 2017.

Order Amending Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act

Amendment

1 Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act (see footnote 1) is amended by adding the following in alphabetical order:

Coming into Force
