Whereas, pursuant to subsection 10(3) of the Broadcasting Act footnote a and subsection 69(1) of the Telecommunications Act footnote b, a copy of the proposed Rules Amending the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure, substantially in the annexed form, was published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on November 7, 2020 and a reasonable opportunity was afforded to licensees and other interested persons to make representations to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission with respect to the proposed Rules;

Therefore, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission makes the annexed Rules Amending the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure, pursuant to

Rules Amending the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure

Amendment

1 Section 52 of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure footnote 1 is replaced by the following:

Requirements to be followed

52 An application for the resolution of a matter under an alternative dispute resolution process must be made in accordance with the procedural requirements established by the Commission in Broadcasting and Telecom Information Bulletin CRTC 2019-184, dated May 29, 2019.

Coming into Force

2 These Rules come into force on the day on which they are registered.
